Who we are

LM Smart Solutions is a software company based in Cairo, Egypt. This policy explains what personal data we handle through this website (lm-tech-solutions.com) and through the systems we host for our clients, and what you can ask of us. Questions about it go to info@lm-tech-solutions.com.

This website

We do not use analytics, advertising trackers or cookies on this website.

The pages load fonts from Google Fonts, and product pages embed demo videos from YouTube in its privacy-enhanced mode (youtube-nocookie.com). When a page loads them, your browser connects to Google, which receives your IP address and browser details under its own privacy policy. A YouTube video only sets data in your browser once you press play.

When you contact us

The contact form does not send anything to a server: it opens your own email app with your message filled in, and nothing is sent until you press send there. When you email us or call us, we receive what you choose to include, such as your name, email address, company and message. We use it to answer you, to arrange a demo or trial you asked for, and to keep a record of our conversation. We do not sell it, and we do not add you to a mailing list without asking.

Systems we host for clients

Some clients ask us to host our systems for them, for example LM Smart Reservations for a hotel's restaurants, Call Master for a hotel's or an airport's call records, or LM-MS for a company's power sites. In that case the client decides what data the system holds and why, and we process it on the client's behalf and on their instructions. For a hotel guest, that can include the name, room number, email address, optional phone number, booking, dish choices, dietary needs and feedback given when booking a table. Questions about that data should go first to the hotel or company that runs the system; we will help them answer.

When a client hosts one of our systems on its own servers, we do not hold the data at all.

How long we keep data

We keep correspondence for as long as we are in contact with you, and for a reasonable period afterwards for our records. Data in a hosted system is kept for as long as the client instructs, and deleted or returned to them when our service ends.

How we protect it

We use encrypted connections (HTTPS), limit access to the people who need it, and keep backups of hosted systems. No system is perfectly secure; if something goes wrong that affects your data, we will tell the people affected, or the client responsible for them, without undue delay.

Your choices

You can ask us what personal data we hold about you, ask us to correct it, or ask us to delete it, by writing to info@lm-tech-solutions.com. We will reply within 30 days. If the data is in a system we host for a client, we will pass your request to that client and help them act on it.

Changes

If we change this policy, we will update this page and the date at the top.
